Senior Information Analyst

At Devon Partnership Trust, I make use of SQL and R to - create and run reports for service managers - respond to ad-hoc requests for information from a range of colleagues - automate existing reports I am also providing data analysis support to a research study. I make use of R markdown, flexdashboard, the tidyverse packages, plotly, and openxlsx, attempting to create reproducible work that adheres to good coding practices.

Content Editor

For much of my time at Sparx, my role involved critically analysing proofreading notes and using my judgment, my knowledge of grammar and my understanding of our content to work out which corrections should be applied. I also helped with writing training manuals and running inductions for new proofreaders. Later on, I started writing Python scripts and R Shiny apps to provide feedback, generate insights and solve problems. I also began to write and review GCSE maths content. I also became a keen user of Jira and Confluence, designing workflows, creating queries in JQL, and tracking and visualising Jira data via the Google Sheets integration.

Trainee Bookkeeper

I worked at A D Holmes & Co for three consecutive summer periods during university, as well as doing some work over the christmas periods, and continued to work here after completing my degree. My responsibilities included - preparing VAT returns. - completing general bookkeeping. - preparing European Commission sales lists. - obtaining extra information from clients. The role involved using Sage accounting software and Excel.
