Where I've interned and worked during my career.

US Marine Corps | Dec 2023 - Present

Manpower Data Analyst

How many Marines are staying in the Marine Corps Reserve? What retention methods are working and which ones aren't? What is the current composition of our force and how do we get that composition to where we need it? All of these questions I work to answer on a daily basis, by using SQL and Python on Databricks, as well as visualization tools like Excel, Tableau, Power BI. I use Power BI every single day in this role to present dashboards and reports to senior decision makers.

Policy & Data Analyst

This is where my love of data analysis began. I started my career by using solar electricity, conventional electricity, and utility billing data to predict financial returns on solar investments. It combined my love of numbers to my desire to help the planet by showing how affordable, and even profitable, solar can be to large real-estate clients. I used Excel and Power BI to complete these analyses.
