Data Analyst, 4Mi - Asia and the Pacific

Data management, research production, and knowledge dissemination: - In collaboration with the Information Management Specialist, manage, process, and analyze large quantities of data; ensure availability of clean datasets. - On a monthly basis: manage the initial quality check of collected 4Mi data based on guidelines and support from the 4Mi Coordinator and Information Management Specialist; manage the initial data cleaning process based on guidelines and support from the 4Mi team. - Support the 4Mi Coordinator and Information Management Specialist when needed in the improvement of the database and website. - Contribute to drafting and creation of visuals for regularly published information products. - Work closely with MMC colleagues to research and analyze the region's migration trends. Strategy and standards: - Contribute to the development of MMC Asia’s research agenda and strategy. - Ensure compliance with MMC standards and guidelines related to 4Mi implementation. - Work with the regional 4Mi Coordinator and Information Management Specialist to develop standardized information management tools, and to improve information management and data processing standards for 4Mi. 4Mi implementation support: - Support the administrative needs of 4Mi across Asia; - Support the recruitment of enumerators; liaise with the 4Mi Coordinator and DRC Finance Department to ensure the timely payment of enumerators, and support enumerators to ensure compliance with monthly reporting requirements. - Develop and maintain logbook with essential correspondence between DRC and 4Mi enumerators; - Manage proper storage and archiving of relevant documents and maintain filing system for all 4Mi enumerators. - Transmit inputs and feedback from enumerators to project staff, including but not limited to, suggestions on revisions to data collection methods; and ensure feedback from project staff reaches enumerators.

Information Management Officer

Data Management and Analysis: - Maintaining the data in the tools in place by supervising the field team and on data entry and generating regular reports for information management, MEAL, and subsector reporting purposes. - Demonstrate progressive autonomy in adapting to changing MEAL and subsector reporting purposes and hence have a sensitivity to AGD mainstreaming. The position drafts the quantitative aspects of all reporting, including donor and government. - Ensure effective data management by developing GBV and project management data collection tools and methodologies, and designing database systems for data management and analysis purposes. - Ensure availability of updated and quality information for informed decision-making by DRC’s GBV team by identifying pertinent variables, including analyzing and interpreting multiple datasets, identifying trends and patterns in protection issues and project management. - Analyze the collected and cleaned data to see the trends and predict practical and reliable targets for future projects and Joint Response Plans. - Maintain and manage the Internal Indicator Performance Tracking Tool (IPTT), see the project progress every month, and report to the line manager if any discrepancy occurs. - Maintain, manage, and create all the internal trackers and lists to ensure smooth and efficient project management. Information Dissemination: - Drafts information products such as reports, charts, and infographics by turning data into graphic products to facilitate the dissemination of information at the line manager’s discretion. To this end, designs the layouts of reporting and presentation templates using graphic design programs ensuring the attractiveness and clarity of the information products.

Knowledge Management Officer

- Identify and document lessons learned, best practices and innovations (‘knowledge’) from across the sector response to the Rohingya crisis using written documentation, as well as photo and video as appropriate. - Organize forums and platforms for sector partners to share knowledge amongst themselves, as well as with other sectors bilaterally or multilaterally. - Identify and develop mechanisms to share knowledge generated from the Rohingya crisis across UNICEF at the country, regional and global levels. - Connect with the global cluster to identify opportunities to disseminate knowledge generated from the Rohingya crisis to other humanitarian contexts, and to bring knowledge generated from other emergencies to the Rohingya crisis. - Develop new and innovative ways to share knowledge and information amongst sector partners. - Ensure knowledge and information generated by the sector are stored in a safe and effective, and, where required confidential, manner. - In coordination with the information management officer, support the collection, validation, analysis and dissemination of datafrom sector partners. - Develop situation reports and other information and knowledge products to support the work of the sector. - In coordination with the information management officer, support for data visualization including products to support advocacy,resource mobilization efforts, referral pathways, IEC material, etc. - Prepare and maintain catalogues of IM and data products for the humanitarian response. - Any other related tasks as may be required or assigned by the supervisor.

Information Management Officer

- Keeping all records updated including Safety Unit Volunteers (SUVs), Site Management Support (SMS) volunteers, community groups, camp committees, and provide Age Gender and Diversity (AGD) breakdown analysis. - Updating the service mapping continuously including additional data regarding service providers. - Update the 4W tool on a regular basis. - Keep the record of new service providers and plot allocations. - Provide info on camp level geographical location of main service providers and update it continuously as well as record all the GPS points for the different structures in the camp. - Keep track of relocation data per camp including internal and external relocations. - Develop distribution forms and keep track of distribution lists. - Develop when needed, camp level household lists including biodata, address, phone numbers, card number, etc., providing regular updates to databases. - Collect camp level requested data and share with the Manager and Senior CCCM Manager for compilation across the camps. - Keep records of all minutes of meetings and ensure minutes are stored on SharePoint. - Ensure all attendance sheets are available for all meetings and are stored on SharePoint. - Ensure all data is entered and soft/hard copies are archived. - Any other task as requested by the SMS manager.

Intern - Archives and Data Management

• Review the old files and prepare a list of documents to be shared with the Protection Unit (in-Line with the policy on the Management of UNHCR records). • Establish an electronic database for archiving the identified documents for preservation. • Assist the office in establishing an electronic library management system. In doing so, do the following: - Create an inventory of the existing library resources and available stock. - Prepare a distribution list for the educational institutions. - Identify the disburse materials. • Assist the Unit in organizing advocacy/training events like workshops, seminars, information sharing sessions, and so on. • Close follow-up with the relevant interlocutors involved in advocacy interventions. • Attend regular staff meetings. • Any other relevant task.
