Food Pantry Coordinator

Coordinated day to day operations at the Center for Self Reliance and West County Emergency Food Pantries, including inventory, stocking, data capture and entry into Cap60 and later CMS Databases. Onboarded and trained volunteers in safe food handling and pantry procedures. Created an Excel database to track and log deliveries, client allergies and food preferences. Delivered food to 830 families. Managed the gas card and occasionally the charge card for larger purchases from the grocery, or getting and reconciling receipts for the larger org.

Mutual Aid Network Coordinator

Began a local network that started in my town and then grew to local neighborhoods and then the region, offering financial, food, childcare, transportation, language, resource referrals, and masshealth and SNAP signup help. At its peak there were 1300 volunteers offering their time and resources in varying capacities. I got things off the ground with others at the start, and then took on the Hotline Coordinator and Translator Coordinator role, training and scheduling people on hotline shifts, intake processes, making a ticket and assigning tickets to coordinators and then the people whose offerings met the need.

Small school and a small admissions office so as administrative support I was split between the admissions person and the secretary for the president, often assisting with mailings, meeting minutes, events coordination like open houses and data entry and verification in Alma database tool.
