Working as a trainee Engineer under supervision of Senior Engineers and General Managers of NTDC South in Primary Transmission Grids(500KV) and Secondary Transmission Grids(220KV,132KV). Grid Management and working in live control room, performing various tasks like maintaining and analyzing load sheets, balancing IN & OUT loads and managing power quality. Getting exposure of faults in Auto Transformers, Power Transformers,Transmission Line and their maintenance. Getting familiar with the testing of Transformers and Relays. Working in Protection & Instrumentation department, dealing with relays, fault recorder, event recorder, circuit breakers and panels.

Learnt about periodic maintenance of the power plant. Observed the control room for 4 different power generation units, one of 260MW and three of 200MW.
