Information Technology Officer

• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of communications systems including radios, computers, and networking nodes for a 430-person unit • Serve as the senior advisor to the unit commander on all matters concerning information technology, data management, automations, information security, and network management • Manage the IT user database, query records to generate weekly reports on annual training compliance and deficiencies • Manage unit alert system, distribute critical information to personnel via automated calls and texts, analyze and visualize acknowledgment data in Power BI to assess system efficiency and personnel responsiveness • Planned, resourced, and executed more than 25 technical training events and more than 10 marksmanship ranges • Regarded as a top 15% performer amongst peers in performance evaluation
