This PGY2 Drug Information residency is a joint program between Takeda Pharmaceuticals and the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy. Special features of this joint residency include exposure to academic drug information, medication safety, medication use policy, and various aspects of pharmaceutical industry practice. The resident spends 6 months at each site and gains experience in teaching, academic and industry practice, completes a research project, and participates in the UIC resident seminar series.
