Chief Of Operations

Served as the chief resourcing officer, transportation officer, and assistant planning officer for the 2017 Gainey Cup, an international reconnaissance competition for the entire U.S. Army, as well as multiple NATO nations. Was responsible for coordinating all resources for events, the transportation of competitors and logistical elements during the competition, as well as assisting in planning the entire competition. Achieving outstanding results with severely restricted resources and time. Responsible for coordinating and executing all operations within the Squadron (an element of approximately 400 soldiers), leveraging people and assets to accomplish all missions assigned by higher headquarters. Selected above eight other peers to serve as the chief planning officer for high profile ceremonies and services for VIPs and foreign dignitaries. Selected to serve as an investigating officer into a loss of property, with the result of $84,000 worth of missing or destroyed equipment being accounted for and responsibility for the loss being properly adjudicated according to the UCMJ and Army Regulations. Served as the chief liaison between higher headquarters and my organization, seamlessly nesting priorities and tasks within the intent of my higher headquarters. Served as the Squadron chief environmental compliance officer, responsible for managing the environmental program for 400 soldiers and six army schools. Was the only environmental officer out of four organizations to pass the instillation and EPA environmental inspections.

This resulted in no loss of equipment or operability, with the project being completed 3 months ahead of schedule. Served as the interim manager of a secure weapons storage facility, responsible for the security and accountability of approximately $5 million in weapons and equipment, as well as the development of policies and procedures to maximize efficiency while maintaining accountability. 100% accountability was maintained across 4 organizations and as a result, productivity was greatly increased. Was selected to serve as the Environmental Compliance Officer for my organization, ensuring compliance with EPA and DOD environmental regulations. Was the only organization of 4 inspected to pass the annual instillation environmental inspection. Resourced the training of approximately 40,000 soldiers across multiple organizations in One Station Unit Training and Basic Combat Training, graduating approximately 40,000 new soldiers prepared for assignment worldwide. Responsible for the maintenance and accountability of approximately $50 million worth of equipment and vehicles, resulting in $0 loss of equipment and all 30 vehicles maintaining a 100% readiness rating Planned and managed an annual budget of $100,000, responsible for conducting budget analysis in the procurement of supplies and training resources, resulting in a highly efficient budget with no loss of accountability. Hand selected over three peers and two superiors to serve as the squadron chief logistical officer, creating and directing a team of three soldiers and 1 DA civilian to accomplish all logistical operations for four organizations and six army schools. Directly supervised and evaluated 87 Non-commissioned Officers on leadership dimensions and performance.

Liaison Officer

Created situation and operation reports from information sent by units operating across 3 NATO countries, allowing higher headquarters to understand challenges and operations conducted by units at the lowest level. Supervised and tracked logistical operations across Europe, sustaining units operating thousands of miles from the nearest army logistical hubs. Integrated and disseminated intelligence reports gathered by higher headquarters, allowing lower echelons to possess the necessary information to plan and conduct military operations with limited information resources. • Tracked and oversaw the movement of 110 vehicles and 600 soldiers across three Western European nations, resulting in the on time arrival of all personnel and equipment with zero loss of accountability. Created situation and operation reports for U.S. Forces operating in Operation Trident Juncture 15, allowing U.S. Army Europe and NATO to have a common picture of U.S. operations in Spain. Created and submitted public affairs documents and stories to USAEUR, letting USAEUR publish public relations stories to boost civilian knowledge of U.S. operations in Spain. Served as a translator between U.S. and German forces on multiple occasions, allowing for closer integration of NATO units.

Battalion Logistics Officer

Assisted supervising the maintenance, sustainment, and resourcing of approximately 200 vehicles and 800 soldiers across 7 Eastern European countries, allowing U.S. forces to operate in austere environments with little to no infrastructure. Assisted in supervising and managing the transportation and deployment of over 200 military vehicles from the United States to Eastern Europe, resulting in zero loss of accountability. Created and procured the diplomatic clearances for approximately 800 soldiers traveling to 7 Eastern European countries, allowing the seamless travel all soldiers participating in Operation Atlantic Resolve. Coordinated logistical support and tracked shipments across four European countries, ensuring the timely delivery of goods and allowing the sustainment of U.S. forces operating with little to no infrastructure. Supervised the delivery and receipt of ammunition and other hazardous goods to all U.S. forces operating in Poland, allowing for the seamless integration of live fire training for all U.S. forces training in Poland. Supervised the training and fielding of six Field Ordering Officer teams across five European countries with a budget of over $125,000 in cash for the procurement of necessary supplies. All necessary supplies were resourced with no loss of funds or accountability. Managed a $4 million contract between the U.S. and Polish governments, reporting on the execution and quality of goods/services offered. Was the primary liaison to the Polish, French, and German forces, leveraging relationships and communication skills to receive and provide necessary support to allied nations. Hand selected to serve as the chief logistical officer for the planning and execution of Operation Saber Strike 15 and Operation Puma 15 in Poland, resourcing the training of forces from five NATO countries operating in the Drawosko Promorskie Training Area.

Tank Platoon Leader

Responsible for the training, supervision, and leadership of 18 soldiers, was ranked first amongst my peers for my leadership abilities and team’s execution Conducted tactical analysis and employed four Abrams Main Battle Tanks in a variety of situations and under austere conditions to achieve given objectives, was selected out of 14 peers as the “hero of the battle” during NTC rotation due to the decisive success of my team. Destroyed more enemy vehicles than 68 other teams during National Training Center Rotation, contributing greatly to the success of the higher organization and being recognized for excellence by the opposing forces commander. Ensured OSHA compliance as the organizations Safety Officer, investigating and mitigating workplace accidents. Only one reported accident during 1 year period and was recognized by Brigade Safety Officer for outstanding performance. Created a maintenance tracking system that was adopted by entire organization due to its efficacy. As a result maintenance within the organization went from 25% to 100%. Conducted battlefield analysis under austere and adverse conditions, reporting on opponent’s movements and disposition to higher headquarters in short time periods. Tracked and monitored ammunition and fuel usage within the organization, forecasting future needs based on analysis of current consumption.
