Event and Facility Manager

Facility and Event Manager: Men’s Basketball, Baseball, Volleyball, Beach Volleyball, Men's and Women's Swim Assistant Event Manager: Football (Official’s Liaison, Field Operations) • Contributed to the $100,000 renovation of the Volleyball practice facility in Fall of 2021. • Represented Utah as a Team Ambassador at the 2022 Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament in Las Vegas, assisting with tournament operations. • Performed event management duties at the 2021 Pac-12 Cross Country Championships in Salt Lake City, UT. • Plan, prepare and direct event operations & championships efforts in support of coaches, student-athletes, game officials, department support staff & guests, under the guidelines provided by the NCAA, the Pac-12 & other sport related governing bodies. Manage and support all seventeen athletic department sponsored sports. • Assist with administering and maintaining the event budgets for my assigned athletic programs. • Coordinate external athletic facility rental and events. Administrative assistance of all event requests, financial administration & budgeting, compliance approval, facility & auxiliary support scheduling and contractual agreements. • Foster and maintain internal & external support relationships with event operations’ partners (i.e. University Police Department, University Emergency Management, Parking Services, Office of the Provost, etc.), as well as city partners. • Serve as a liaison between departments and contractors for facility/venue inquiries. • Provide supervision and shared oversight of student workers and their event responsibilities. Daily responsibilities also include supervision of student workers to complete daily operations tasks at each of our athletic facilities. • Coordinate/perform set-up and event break-down of athletic venues as needed.

Daily responsibilities also included supervision of student workers to complete daily operations tasks at each of our athletic facilities. • Shared assistance, oversight and supervision of 300 part-time event staff members, which includes scheduling.
