Curated insects collected more than 100 years ago that were found in wooden boxes in the Department of Life Sciences. The insects were glued where needed and pins replaced where necessary. Insects added to the University's collection of specimen for teaching purposes. Furthermore, an identification key (complete with microscopic photography of samples for each node of the key) was created for first year students. Orders curated comprehend: Coleoptera, Hemiptera, Diptera, Hymenoptera, Lepidoptera, Blattodea, Mantodea, Odonata, Ephemetoptera, Orthoptera, Embioptera, Trichoptera, Neuroptera, Dermaptera and Phasmatodea.
