At UVM I was a member of the research team at the Vermont Center on Behavior and Health (VCBH). I applied principles from behavioral economics and behavioral pharmacology to research how human behavior contributes to chronic disease, and to discover effective methods for promoting human behavior. In my role as a post-doctoral fellow I conducted research regarding tobacco and nicotine regulation to understand potential behavioral and health consequences of various regulatory decisions.
