My Work Experience

Where I've interned and worked during my career.

University College London

Research Analyst & Project Lead

I developed a learning analytics pipeline, collecting and modeling behavioral data from multiple sources (10+ local schools, walk-ins and online) to understand how young learners are motivated to learn and remember new vocabulary. I designed and automated reproducible workflows in R, reducing manual data prep by 40%, and developed KPIs to evaluate learner retention and actively track sampling. I applied advanced statistical modeling (e.g., GLMs) to identify the significant predictors of learning outcomes; uncovered variation in effects based on children's language proficiency. This work bridged research and real-world analytics, deepening my fluency in stakeholder alignment, behavioral insights, and scalable data solutions.

Research Analyst & Project Lead

I designed and ran behavioral studies exploring how people learn through rewards in game-like environments. By drawing on neurodiversity research, I built custom audio-visual stimuli prior to which I organized and facilitated a local workshop with therapists and educators, integrating 85% of their feedback into the game design. This not only boosted engagement during pilot testing but the studies also generated a rich dataset with 1000+ observations. These were analyzed using Bayesian models to explore how different reward incentives shape learning. Findings indicated that social rewards in language learning, though often overlooked, may play a more important role in memory than tangible incentives like money, points, or grades.

Georgia State University, USA

Lecturer & Researcher

I taught multiple undergraduate courses including Sensation & Perception, Physiological Psychology, Advanced Research Design and Data Analysis, Introduction to Drugs and Behavior, and Cognitive Psychology, reaching 300+ students. I designed and delivered 60+ hours of original content, from assessments to gamified learning tools, consistently earning strong student feedback (75–80% satisfaction). Alongside teaching, I led several EEG studies on abstract pattern learning in adults with and without dyslexia, collecting and processing high-density (256-channel) scalp data using MATLAB to explore cortical activity linked with reading ability. My data-driven skills focus was on EEG data cleaning pipelines, Linear mixed modeling and EEG Source estimation techniques.

Callier Center for Communication Disorders - UT Dallas, USA

Independent Research Analyst

In addition to acoustic data analytics to track feature in speech patterns, I worked on a project using 3D motion tracking to measure speech movement patterns. I collected and processed kinematic data from 50+ participants, adapting MATLAB scripts to clean, visualize, and analyze thousands of data points related to lower lip movement. The goal was to identify group-level planning differences between children with and without language challenges. I collaborated with speech-language therapists to interpret the findings, contributing to a manuscript aimed at informing inclusive education and assistive learning technologies.
