I am the owner of Deserts Deep, LLC, a company providing cutting-edge training for clients at many levels in multiple areas. After completing a Ph.D. in Teaching, Learning, and Teacher Education, I expanded the original scope of Deserts Deep (scuba, caving, hiking, and other outdoor skills) to include instructional design and implementation in areas as diverse as corporate training, adult learning, GMP, biosafety, biosecurity, and project management. In the future, Deserts Deep looks to not only aid clients in developing and implementing training programs, but to also engage in cutting edge research into the efficacy of training models. Most recently, Desert Deep has consulted with Vibeke Halkjaer-Knudsen to begin to provide services in the area of Biological Risk Management.
