AI Research Intern

During my time as an AI Research Intern at Silicornya in Dhaka, I was deeply involved in developing an AI-powered tutoring system. I worked with OpenAI's GPT-4 to create an intelligent tutor that really resonated with students - we actually hit a 65% satisfaction rate! The most challenging part was getting the conversation flow right. I built a system that could handle multiple messages at once and manage different conversation threads, so students could have natural, uninterrupted chats with the AI tutor. One thing I'm particularly proud of was fine-tuning the prompts to match different grade levels. It wasn't just about making the AI understand the subjects - it was about making sure it could explain things in a way that made sense to students of different ages. Looking back, those three months taught me a lot about making AI work in real-world educational settings.
