Test Operator

Server Test Operator, conducting Pre-Test, Burn-In, Final System Test (FST) and Imaging of various hardware configurations of Web Servers built for Nutanix. Involves connecting networking cables, power supplies, as well commands from a terminal to test server functionality. Adding and removing various hardware components to nodes in the servers, such as DIMM memory, NIC cards, SATADOM, Solid State Drives, and Hard Drives. Complete Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) components, including DIMM, SATADOM, SSD and HDD. Debug units that have failed tests running scripts from the command line to diagnose and troubleshoot issues. Have failed hardware components replaced based on diagnostic results. Create reports to describe debug steps, and component issues.

My specialization is in solving problems that arise with organic methods. I have extensive experience in various techniques of cultivation including organic, hydroponic, and hybrid methods of both. Also, have done a lot research using various media used in cultivation. Started the plant propagation department, and was responsible for seed and new genetic hybrid development.

My responsibilities included routine plasmid and phage DNA isolation; maintenance and amplification of phage library stocks; transformation of frozen plasmid DNA into competent bacterial cells; restriction enzyme cloning of DNA in plasmid and phage vectors; polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification of DNA samples; maintenance of mammalian and insect cell cultures; protein expression using cDNA transfected COS7 mammalian and SF9 insect cell lines; isolation of organs from mice to use as a source of B and T cell clones; transplantation experiments using various mouse strains to study the effects of IL‐10 on their immune response to various challenges, such as staph endo‐ toxin; Western, Northern, Southern blot techniques using both radioactive and non‐radioactive techniques; SDS‐page gel electrophoresis; amplification of cDNA stocks; screening of cDNA and lamda phage libraries; protein dialysis; column purification of protein and DNA; presentation of data and experiments at lab meetings.
