Product Management and Development

The Product and Management Department is responsible for understanding user needs, the overall product strategy, and setting goals for design of new insurance product. The department also focuses on solution delivery which necessitates prototyping, designing, and testing a product. My main responsibilities over the 4 months internship period are: - Market Product Research: To search for the new life insurance product launched by other life insurance companies on a monthly basis. - Competitor Analysis: To search for the similar life insurance products and summarize the features of the products in a table format to ease the comparison process. - User Acceptance Testing (UAT): To carry out UAT by using the Sales Quotation system which includes the process of constructing test plan, Negative Testing and Wording Testing.

Technical Committee - The National Varsity Chinese Debate Competition

The National Varsity Chinese Debate Competition is the first national biennial college-level Chinese debate competition in Malaysia. Since its establishment in 1988, it is also the oldest Chinese debate competition in Malaysia so far. This year has entered its 34th year. I joined the technical department of the event and had learnt about some technical skills such as PA system.
