Where I've interned and worked during my career.

Entos Pharmaceuticals | Jun 2021 - Dec 2025

Research Scientist

I proudly contributed to Entos Pharmaceuticals' mission to develop novel genetic medicines. In this role I: • Optimized processes for the production of proprietary fusion associated small transmembrane protein (FAST) to support internal projects and clinical trials. Specifically, this work directly supported a phase 1/2 clinical trial. • Developed and refined upstream and downstream processes for the production clinical-grade plasmid DNA (pDNA). This DNA was used in house to enable gene therapy studies. This also led to the elimination of gigaprep kits providing significant cost savings. •Developed analytical methods for the QC of pDNA and fusogenic FAST protein. •Authored SOPs and work instructions relating to pDNA and FAST protein production. • Trained staff and supported project management to enhance operational efficiency. •Supervised Internship students to facilitate their professional development and scientific growth. •Performed transfections and then assessed the efficacy of lipid nano-particle formulations using techniques such as fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry.
