Business Intel SQL Ops Developer

• Code Review, review new/updated code/packages to ensure the deployment impact of processes and meet standards of SDLC. • The company was required to move all servers to the cloud, developed a Project Plan to migrate each Database to the new environment with minimum interruption to the population of data, after completing the migration no data flows were interrupted and no data integrity issues. • Multiple Stored Procedures and ETL Processes were not completing by their SLA times causing financial impacts, Optimized the SQL and ETL processes reducing runtimes by 30%-60% allowing each job to meet SLA 99.9% reducing the financial impact. • A decision to move to a new job scheduler was made documentation of the current jobs was required to create the new jobs, organized a team to document all current ETL Jobs allowing their creation in the new scheduler. • A team was being created for SQL Operations I was the first on the team and responsible for bringing the other team members onboard, interviewing and training the team as each came on-board, members of the team that went through this training are now able to handle any issue that comes up using the Critical Thinking developed from the training to solve problems. • After a vender updated their database a data integrity issue was noticed that needed to be resolved, created a project plan to import the corrected data in sections and update the data in the current tables and Data Warehouse, when the plan was complete all data was refreshed, and no data integrity issues existed.

• Company required a platform to run reporting from, created a Data Warehouse using a star schema, after complete the reporting performance improved 30%. • Performance on the Database needed improvement reports were not completing, Optimized the tables, stored procedures and views using indexing and window functions increasing performance and allowing all report to complete. • Database Development - new database objects using constraints providing data integrity • A new application was being developed that would use a uniquely named file, created a dynamic ETL package to handle multiple files using the file name as a variable. • The current AR reporting system was taking too long to complete, developed a new AR Report using SQL and ETL that processed the data faster and with more detail, the new process was able to completed in 2 hours with higher detail than before saving days of waiting. • SSRS Administration/ Development, responsible for the security groups and creation/updating of reports • Company was looking for a different Reporting system, Introduced Power BI and R to my supervisor using Power BI and R created Advanced Analytic reports for the CEO, CFO and Vice Presidents. • Created Statistical Reports for company for deeper insights into the data. • Created Linear Models using R, showing the most profitable combination of patient count to visit.
