MSc dissertation research with Public Health Scotland

I am working with the Principle Information Analyst (Clinical Trials Statistician) of the Scottish Clinical Trials Research Unit and a senior academic psychiatrist on statistical analyses for a ground-breaking clinical study of lifestyle interventions in people who have (or have had) a brain tumour. The work will form the basis for my MSc dissertation.

I spent three years at Morgan Stanley helping them deliver three strategic projects : internal migration of wealth management platform (US), sale of EMEA Wealth Management business (London) and the sale of the Swiss bank. Each programme involved the movement of billions of US dollars in AUM and required coordination of Operations, Technology and Business to execute complex financial and data migration plans. I played a leading role in the command centre in each programme providing leadership and problem solving skills to connect the dots in these multi-threaded, multi-stakeholder programmes and became a trusted advisor to my Executive Director client in the Glasgow Wealth Management office.

PM on LBG's Verde Programme: EU-mandated divestment of circa 630 branches. My role was to deliver the 'schell' credit card infrastructure prior to the divestment of what has become TSB. This was a high profile mandatory programme. This was a joint IT-operations project involving a third party software provider (First Data). My main achievement was to steer the project to a 'cloning' solution whereby the existing cards product configuration was cloned rather than manually copied. This saved time and money and reduced delivery risk (errors in product configuration).
