The largest university trading competition in the UK, with 600+ participants from the UK and Europe • Finished 1st winning the grand prize of 10,000£ • Live-traded WTI future contracts for a week, finishing with the 2nd best team PnL, and qualifying for the finals • Operated with OTC contracts for brent oil, gasoline, diesel, and heating oil, arbitraging calendar spreads • Secured the position as the best-performing hedge fund

• Competed in an asset management simulation, finishing 2nd overall from a pool of 75 participants • Programmed a trading strategy, arbitraging deviations of an ETF, and the prices of the components • Led a team of 5 in the Quant Challenge, solving math problems and betting on the outcome

Citadel & Citadel Securities Quant Trading Simulation

• Attended 5 hours of online lectures: Market Structure, Risk Management, Price Making, OOP in Python • Managed a $20 mill portfolio in a trading competition (75 students), as both Sell-Side and Buy-Side firms • Optimized risk allocation from market-making by unwinding open positions, through clients and the exchange, hedging against quote-driven products with ETFs, and skewing spreads to reflect current positions of risk • Automated the process of market-making with Python: skewed prices based on current positions of risks, hedged based on the net-nominal value of all traded assets, and explored the risk effects of beta • Finished 1st in both Risk and Quoteboard Management, and facilitated 163 trades in under 30 minutes
