As an internship student, I participated in experiments associated with drug resistance of the malaria parasite. I also tested the antimicrobial efficacy of compounds that could be an alternative to ethanol-based disinfectants since those are linked with some unpleasant adverse effects. With my colleagues, we prepared all the protocols and implemented all the experiments according to the protocols. My favourite project was bioinformatic analysis of single- cell data sequencing results. For analysis, we were using python. More specifically, we were mostly using Pandas, Matplotlib, Scanpy and NumPy. I finished the exchange with the highest grade.
