Key Responsibilities: • Work closely with, and report to the project engineers and managers on multiple projects. • Design of structural members and systems in assigned projects. • Scheme, model, analyze and embark on structural designs using 3D and 2D Software in accordance with design practices, codes and manuals. • Production of detailed reinforced concrete drawings, bar bending schedule sheets, technical reports, calculation plans and project documentation. • Attend design reviews and training sessions and learn from listening asking questions and participating in discussions. • Production of Quality Management Systems (QMS) documentations for projects hence ensuring quality control and quality assurance are maintained throughout the projects. • Assist the project engineers and managers in the analysis, preparation of engineering designs, drawings, engineering calculations, specification sheets, reports and all other required project documentation. • Carry out structural integrity/structural assessment on existing structures to ascertain their structural stability. • Comply with Arup Ovacode and Quality Management System Requirements • Be aware of and observe office procedures, standards, and legislative requirements governing workplace behavior.
