Finance Manager

Streamlined the invoice registration process, reducing errors and ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, where among other duties I was responsible for the reconciliation of accounts payable and accounts receivable, the preparation of payments by verifying documentation, issuing checks and conducting payments, as well as the monitoring of the registration of the organization’s invoices in order to ensure the timely and accurate depiction of the organization’s assets and liabilities.

Procurement Officer

As a Procurement Officer at the Hellenic Air Force 201 Central Supply Depot i was part of the team (second in command) responsible for overseeing and leading the effective and timely procurement of goods and services (mainly aircraft spare parts) in order to meet the needs of the project and ensure compliance with regional and/or national procurement processes, protocols and objectives. Developed and implemented a procurement tracking system that improved transparency and accountability. Analyzed procurement data from the tracking system to identify inefficiencies that reduced costs.

Collaborated with other departments to identify and prioritize procurement needs. Coordinated with the finance department to ensure timely payment of vendors and identified and resolved payment issues, resulting in improved vendor relationships and a reduction in payment delays.
