Senior Bioinformatician

Managing a team of 7+ bioinformaticians in the Biotechnology Research department. Supporting multiple departments: Molecular Biology, Phytopathology, Cell Biology, Post Harvest, Seed Research. Through Agile methodology, I lead on technology development, implementation, and applied research projects. Some of the regular tasks involve data exploration, correlation and regression analysis, by implementing machine learning/vision and generative AI solutions with PyTorch or Keras libraries. Developing technologies in genome sequencing and assemblies, (epi)genetic variation analysis, computational models for systems biology, molecular docking, and molecular dynamics simulations. Deployment and Management of High Performance Computing Cluster for distributed analysis as well as Cloud Computing with Azure.
