Data Analyst

• Analyzed historical mortality data with R (tidyverse), extracting and engineering proportion_deaths metrics, identifying pre- and post-intervention trends (handwashing), and visualizing results using ggplot2. Created aggregated summaries to quantify the intervention’s impact and derived actionable insights for public health. • Explored and analyzed Netflix movie data using Python (pandas, matplotlib) to filter movies by release year and genre, compute the mode of film durations, and create a histogram of duration distribution. Identified short Action films from the 1990s, implemented filtering logic, and counted instances, extracting actionable insights from the dataset. • Led statistical analysis of FIFA World Cup match data (2002) using Python (pandas, matplotlib, pingouin, scipy), extracting match statistics and assessing goal-scoring differences between men’s and women’s tournaments. Conducted distribution visualizations and applied a one sided Mann–Whitney U test to determine statistical significance, providing actionable insights into performance trends across groups.
