As a VP of Engineering and Data, I initially helped with the architecture, data analysis, and building of the teams that would eventually become our data platform and service. I interact with internal and external stakeholders to understand their requirements and opportunities and translate them into building initiatives and improving the product in collaboration with other areas. As a VP, my key activities include: * Lead a small team of developers and data scientists. * Working closely with People and Culture to find career-building opportunities and recruitment processes. * Identify areas of opportunity for the platform and the business * Communicate with stakeholders * Working with the business area and communicating with the data team about possible improvements to our analytics * Promoting initiatives and working with area leaders to improve our development cycles. * Working with C-Levels, especially with the CTO, to seek to improve our product and the impact on the business
