- Designing and implementing a shell script that automates the installation and configuration of Universal forwarders, integrating team metadata to establish seamless communication with host indexers. - Designed and implemented an upgrade script for Splunk forwarders, ensuring seamless migration from v7 to v9. Conducted thorough testing to prevent data duplication and ensure a smooth transition process. - Created an hourly Python script to monitor and proactively prevent exceeding usage limits and ingestion failures in indexers, ensuring uninterrupted data flow for relevant teams. - Delivered customized data reports via email to key stakeholders, including people leaders, encompassing insightful information on usage limits, metadata, and error logs. - Strengthening security measures by implementing a solution that blocks remote access to Forwarders through HTTP, binding Splunk to allow requests exclusively from internal sources.
