Business Intelligence Developer

Designed and implemented ETL pipelines, leveraging the capabilities of Snowflake Cloud and PySpark. This involved the creation of standardized, audit, staging, fact, and aggregated tables to ensure efficient data processing and analysis. Managed and standardized diverse semi-structured data sources, establishing uniform data structures to facilitate seamless integration and maintain data consistency. Collaborated with cross-functional teams to enhance the effectiveness of existing Tableau dashboards, resolving performance issues and ensuring optimal functionality. Additionally, identified and addressed business needs by designing and implementing new Tableau dashboards, providing stakeholders with insightful visualizations that facilitated data- driven decision-making. Monitored ETL pipeline performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure uninterrupted services. Developed and implemented Data Quality Indicators, including Completeness, Uniqueness, and Timeliness, to enhance and maintain data integrity. Overhauled legacy processes, significantly reducing resource consumption and query execution time from over 1 hour to 12 minutes. Consistently demonstrated agility by promptly addressing ad hoc requests, ensuring rapid and effective responses to evolving business needs. Contributed to developing a Data Engineering framework, utilizing Apache Iceberg features and Spark streaming to facilitate system migration.
