Research and Data Analyst

(MIS), data collection, processing, analysis, visualization, dissemination and publication of secondary data and recommending courses of actions and future directions to policy makers and development planners. Also, working with UNICEF in Data Processing, Analysis and visualization of Statistical Data of AJ&K Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) 2020-21 and Child Labour Survey (CLS) 2022-23. Duties: • Responsible for Analysis of collected data through Population Census 2017, Labour Force Survey (LFS), Pakistan Standard Living Measurements (PSLM), Pakistan Demographic and Health Survey (PDHS) and National Nutrition Survey (NNS) and reporting for Sustainable Development in line with SDGs for effective planning in AJ&K. • Responsible for collection and analysis of data from Government departments to prepare statistical publications i.e., “Annual Statistical Year Book” and “AJ&K At a Glance” for Researchers, Development Planners, Policy Makers and Academia for informed decision making. • Worked in MICS and CLS in collaboration with UNICEF and analysed primary data based on 171 MICS and 34 SGDs indicators through statistical tools and techniques (Excel, SPSS, Power BI) for realistic and informed decision making and prepared MICS survey finding report, mobile application and snapshots. • Prepared District and Equity Profiles through analysis of primary data collected in AJ&K MICS 2020-21 for effective policy making and sustainable planning. • Supervised secondary editing section of MICS Project for data cleaning and processing of primary data. • Conducted Data Collection Training of AJ&K MICS & CLS as Master Trainer. • Responsible for monitoring to ensure quality of MICS & CLS data. • Worked with a development/test team to identify business requirements of Organizational Management Information System (MIS) for data collection and reporting.
