Assistant Engineer

• Monitoring the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System. • Safe startup & shutdown of the 18.5 MW 18V 51/60 MAN engine & 25.4 MW 20V45/60 MAN Engine as per SOP and Synchronizing/De loading with the grid as per schedule/requirement of NLDC. • Troubleshooting of Engine auxiliaries such as OSE 40 GEA Westfalia oil separator, OSE 40 GEA Westfalia HFO Separator, Viscosity Booster unit, Atlas Copco ZS 160 VSD-K-50 startup air blower, HFO Boll Filter. • Troubleshooting of Alfa Laval Alborg BH-3000L oil-fired fire tube auxiliary boiler and Alfa Laval U-type Exhaust gas Boiler • Periodical check of valve rotation, peak pressure, cylinder head tightness, Turbo Charger washing, Compressor washing, HT and LT water drain, HT, and LT water filling, etc. • Troubleshooting of Switchgear and High voltage and Low voltage power transformer. • Periodical sample collection of lube oil and high-temperature and low- temperature water for quality check. • Regular checkup of firefighting system comprising of Jockey pump, Motor driven pump, and Engine driven pump. • Manual and automatic operation of Scania DC13-074A black start diesel generator. • Operation of NK Start air compressor and instrument air compressor. • Coordinate project operations according to P&ID. • Overseeing RT test of two 4700 Ton oil tanks and other tanks in the tank farm. • Associated with vendors to perform flushing on all pipelines. • Associated with the project team for modification in the pipeline. • Inspection of all systems according to P&ID. • Managing different teams during the project period to acquire the best result.
