As a Finance Process Expert I support the Cost Accounting department and the manufacturing plants in our scope, in Inventory Accounting issues, in order to ensure an uninterrupted manufacturing process and accurate reporting of financial statements. On my current role I continuously : ● Work closely with key stakeholders (Controllers, Engineers & Planners) in order to identify issues and provide solutions to key business challenges in areas like production cost, work in progress and variance analysis. ● Collaborate with the different teams to support reporting, process execution and process improvement. ● Train in key SAP processes (FI-CO, MM) different teams to ensure correct understanding and successful operations. ● Participate in building training curriculum projects to ensure a correct understanding and education across different departments. ● Participate or develop process improvement and standardization projects.

Assistant Finance Process Manager

As an Assistant Finance Process Manager - Assistant Team Lead I was part of a newly created Cost Accounting team within the company, supporting the Team Leader on the transition of Inventory and Manufacturing accounting activities. During this period we were able to: ● Successfully built a great team of 8 people that are able to act independently and successfully complete all their tasks in the required deadlines. ● Transition activities from 8 different Manufacturing locations , each one with its own challenges and specific requirements. ● Standardize Inventory related processes across the plants. ● Implement automation projects for our activities (received the Internal Gold Award for one of the projects) ● Work alongside other teams (Manufacturing , FP&A, General Accounting) in order to provide insights and solutions in inventory related queries.

Senior Cost Accountant

As a Senior Cost Accountant I was providing accounting support to five manufacturing plants. Activities that I was supporting the manufacturing process were: ● Analyze and Report variances in terms of nature (labor , material price etc.), and impact on the P&L in order to help the Controllers and the Planning team to act accordingly. ● Review weekly Batch Jobs and provide solutions on the errors encountered. ● Perform FI-COPA and Cost on Order Reports Reconciliations in order to identify potential mismatches on the Revenue and Cost of Goods Sold reporting. ● Different Ad-hoc Reports and investigations related to Inventory ● Supporting the Audit team during their Audit Engagement by providing the necessary documentation and explanation of different cases. During my time on the role, I was able to develop and implement projects that saved time and effort for the team, in order to perform more critical and cognitive tasks. These projects were: ● Full Absorption Reports Automation: Slashed by more than 85% the manual work needed for extraction and consolidation of the data. ● Annual Cost Roll Automation: Reduced the time spent manually on the data gathering part of the process by more than 70% and helping the team to focus on the analysis part of the process. ● Shrinkage Process Improvement: Reduced by more than 60% the process of the shrinkage accounts review. ● Forward PPV (Purchase Price Variance) Automation : Reduced by more than 45% the workload on the report creation for the potential impact in the P&L due to price discrepancies if action was not taken.
