Analytics Engineer Senior / Analytics Engineer Tech Lead

Responsibilities: ● Creation and maintenance of data pipelines, report delivery routines, database updates and environment management to the company internal teams and external customers using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Power BI and other applications, as necessary; ● Development of IPython Notebooks, Python libraries, external applications and other solutions to spread and ease data access and autonomous exploration for our company’s data teams and our external clients, independently of their previous programming skills; ● ETL pipelines creation and maintenance for evolving the company’s raw data into new databases easier and more reliable to work on, also applying busyness rules and further enhancements as needed; ● External data acquisition through ETL pipelines connecting our environment to many of our company teams work tools APIs and to our clients’ data environments and storages; ● Data environment maintenance on Azure Databricks, SQL, Data Factory and Blob Storage/Data Lake, managing access, permissions, resources and cost, just as creating and maintaining databases, tables and views focused on each team’s permissions and necessities; ● Technical support on the programming languages Python and SQL, with a special focus on the Spark framework and its libraries and features, not limited to my own team, while keeping our environment up to date with the latest evolutions on our main data tools and features; ● Design, evolution and support on the development of best practices on exploring the company’s data inside the Azure environment; Main results: ● Establishment and evolution of a new data team that went from responsible for managing the Customer Service Analysts data environment to being responsible for all Data Science, Analytics and External Clients data environment management in 2 and a half years; ● Made data exploring and analysis easier for the internal teams, meanwhile allowing easier access to the data for many of the company’s major clients; ● Huge growth on the volume of data pipelines, routines and connections for a soaring volume of clients; ● Constant evolution of data tools and sources to help further development of our analysts’ analysis and help them generate even more critical insights for our clients and company;

Responsibilities: • Creation of scripts in R, Shiny and SQL to automatize tasks and gain insights from the data for the team; • Network KPIs analysis on the target cities, defining offenders and strategies to performance betterment; • Examination of alarms, network physical/logical parameters and their specific counters, on AMOS and U2000; • Ericsson/Huawei features study and reporting, pointing upgrades in their parameters setup; • Benchmarking drive-tests complementary analysis on 3G/4G technologies; Main results: • Development of my programming and data analysis skills with tasks such as automatizing SQL queries creation, KPI’s exploratory analysis and data visualizations, geospatial analysis and mapping of the main offenders and their indicators, treatment of information from non-structured data sets, among others; • Upgrade of the overall network performance on a national level due to the insights obtained from the data; • Delivery and presentation of these reports on almost all of the client’s regionals in the country;
