In my current role as Senior Specialist I'm working in the field of data science. Most of my work I'm programming in R. Main achievements: - Creation of a fully automated model for the evaluation of TV add campaign effectiveness on consumer panel data. - Establishing an automated model for marketing mix on consumer panel data with the the possibility of analyst interaction - Organistor and presenter in a regular monthly company internal training series with topics about data science and data analysis (e.g. R, Python, VBA,statistics, neural networks, etc...) - Data Science Training 2017

Working on data analysis and development of marketing mix models on retail panel data. Most of the programming done in SAS. Development of an automated marketing mix model with the possibility of analyst interaction. Helping establish the new system within the company and train the analysts on how to use the system.

Worked on different client related projects and developed together with colleagues an approach for the evaluation of the long term effects of advertising. Most of the projects and programming done in SAS, VBA (Excel) and SQL. Also additional SAS modules were used like SAS OR and SAS IML, implementing models using Kalman Filters. Building of a simulator prototype for price and promotion effects on FMCG product sales in Excel and afterwards helping implementing the mathematics of the simulator in a globally used web based simulator tool.

During an internal program (development transfer program) within the Nielsen Company I was located for three month in the area of Chicago. During that time I was learning the data availability of Nielsen within the USA and I was implementing a model for long term effects.

Internship (Marketing Research)

During an internship within Nielsen in the research group of Nielsen, I worked on different tasks, like the implementation of support tools with VBA that were used in the daily work in production, I did research on a store revenue model, but my main goal was to implement a model of consumer behaviour and the impact of TV advertising within the statistical software R.
