- Researcher at a Canadian research consulting firm. Conducted research projects for government agencies and organizations within transportation, education, healthcare, and Indigenous services public sectors. - Led and/or contributed to research projects assessing youth employment outcomes, patient satisfaction with healthcare services, outcomes of federal funding programs, employee satisfaction with administrative services, public opinions on environmental assurance strategies, and resident satisfaction with municipal services. These projects helped inform policies, interventions, service changes, and organizational decisions. DATA COLLECTION: - Designed and tested surveys used to collect data on a variety of topics and from a range of demographics. - Conducted interviews and focus groups to collect qualitative data. ANALYSIS & REPORTING: - Automated data preparation, analysis, and reporting in R for projects requiring frequent reporting, substantially reducing the time needed to prepare recurring reports. - Developed actionable insights from analyses and research findings, and presented results and recommendations to clients through digestible reports, interactive dashboards, and presentations. - Contributed to the development of dynamic reporting tools which allow datasets to be filtered in real-time and presented through tables and graphs, enabling clients to view and access data in an intuitive and user-friendly manner. - Co-op student at the Multi-Modal Imaging Group, headed by principal investigators Dr. Ariel Graff and Dr. Philip Gerretsen, who investigated the clinical effectiveness of various methods used to treat patients with treatment- resistant schizophrenia. - Cntributed to the progress of six of the group's studies by aiding with participant recruitment and execution of study procedures. - Enrolled over 50 patients with treatment-resistant schizophrenia (which is present in <.003% of the general population) to participate in studies by liaising daily with patients, doctors, and case managers via inpatient and outpatient clinic visits, phone calls, and emails. - Ran clinic and home visits, accompanied transportation with patients, screening interviews, informed consent procedures using the MacArthur Competence Assessment Tool, took participants through MRI pre-scan procedures, and conducted a 1.5- to 3-hour neuropsychological battery regularly. - Administered and scored a battery of neuropsychological assessments, including the WTAR, MMSE, Executive Interview, RBANS, Finger Tapping, Grooved Pegboard, Controlled Oral Word Association Letters, Trail Making, Letter-Number Span, STROOP, and Line Bisection Task.
