Software Developer Intern

After an amazing experience with Orange in my first-year Internship, I was fortunate to join the 2022 Orange Summer Challenge Organized in partnership with EY and Google. Chosen from over 800 applications, my team and I worked with the agile methodology, I was the scrum master of the team, I arranged daily meetings, track progress, and check if a member is blocked on something in addition to my own responsibilities of creating a mixed reality game, movement tracking system, and working on the Cloud. After a long thoughtful period of brainstorming, we came up with the idea of creating a system to do physical therapy at home independently and correctly. Using a mixed reality, patients will be able to see an avatar ‍️️ who guides them and explains how to perform exercises then we will verify their movements with Hands Tracking and a Computer Vision ️ external Body Tracking. As part of the Orange Summer Challenge, we were brought to pitch our idea in a final ceremony with more than 300 attendants from ‍Director of Orange and Orange MEA to the Ministers of Morocco. While preparing our pitch and teaser, we had the choice of following the same theme as the other teams (Sad Teaser, French pitch, ordinary speech format), but we stepped outside the box and took the risk we made a funny teaser, an English pitch in conversation format with a strong personality. And finally, the hard work of the ⌛3 and half months paid off, we won the Orange Summer Challenge, getting first place by the guests and experts' votes by a considerable margin.

I have been selected in my first year among 28 individuals in Morocco ( mainly 2nd-year students ) to take part in a technical internship program offered by the Orange Digital Center (ODC), a brand-new facility Orange established to foster innovation and creativity. I was the speaker/marketer for a diverse group of different backgrounds ( UX/UI design, front-end, back-end, cloud, IoT, AI & ML). Being an innovation internship of two months, the goal was to find a challenge to tackle in the Health-Tech sector to create a profitable Startup that solves that problem and has a social impact.

Back End Developer

Scheduled is an online platform aiming to replace real-life queues with virtual ones. • Got involved in the ideation part which ended with making an online platform to replace real-life queues with virtual ones. • Contributed to the design and Frontend development of the Scheduled web application. • Developed and hosted the Backend that manages queues, users, organization, and send a SMS to the next person in the queue. • Got the 2nd place in the CJEM competition of the best junior enterprise that solve problems related to Covid-19.
