•Administered over 400 paper and electronic surveys to K-8 students and their teachers. •Wrote protocols for data collection and entry and maintained a database that housed over 1,000 unique surveys. •Using R and SPSS, conducted multiple regression analyses on survey results to predict factors that accounted for significant variation in student academic and non-academic outcomes.

Special Education Teacher and Tenth-Grade IEP Case Manager

As a Special Education Teacher, I designed and taught scaffolded Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 curriculum to ninth- and eleventh-grade students. In addition, I provided inclusion support in tenth-grade Geometry and eleventh-grade World Literature. As Tenth-Grade IEP Case Manager, I facilitated IEP meetings for all tenth-grade students with IEP's or 504 Plans and designed individualized interventions for students in my caseload. Additionally, I created and managed a school-wide system to track and carry out staff requests for communication home to Match parents or guardians who speak a language other than English, and I was the primary contact for Match's Spanish-speaking parents and guardians.

Student Suppport and Transition Specialist

With the help of a coworker and supervisor, I piloted a novel student support service named MAPS (Match Alternative Program for Success). MAPS provided a variety of supports to the eight students Match with the most urgent academic and emotional needs to empower them to pass all their classes, show measurable emotional growth, and adequately prepare for post- secondary placements. I researched several academic journals and books in order to design and implement effective, unique supports for each student in MAPS, regularly monitoring data from the supports and making changes if needed. In addition, I trained general faculty of Match in how to deliver student supports with fidelity and monitor their efficacy. I guided them through data analysis and provided feedback on proposed changes to supports.
