Working with Text Data in Python

Join us for this hands-on training where you will learn the basics of how to explore, clean, and extract meaningful insights from text data in Python. This session runs for three hours, including hands-on coding and includes short breaks and opportunities to ask the instructor questions throughout the training.

What will I learn?

You will learn:

• How to tidy up messy text data.

• How to create and manipulate new text data.

• How to search for and extract insights from text data (including an introduction to regular expressions).

What should I prepare?

Please note a Gmail account is required in order to use Colaboratory, a free Jupyter notebook environment. You can join the webinar from your web browser following the instructions you receive in your registration email. All required data and resources are provided below.
