Senior Benefits Analyst

Responsible for the tracking and maintenance of client logistics such as memberships, total claim amounts, total plan expenditures at various time periods, ranging from monthly, quarterly and yearly. The creation and formation of quarterly and yearly reports are based upon metrics that detail key information on Health/Employer Plans that Excelsior Solutions services. Analyzes these reports to highlight significant trend changes in drug utilization, drug spend, drug price inflation, among others, that helps clients manage their plan to facilitate financial decisions. • Serves as an intermediary between the internal analytics team and external Pharmaceutical Benefit Manager (PBMs) to ensure the timely and accurate validation of the aforementioned client metrics. This includes reconciliation between data files provided by the PBM and reports provided by the client's account teams. • Ensures the smooth implementation of client contractual terms for Excelsior Solutions' in-house pharmaceutical data system, which includes the careful reading and parsing of client contracts for the necessary details.⦁ Served as a facilitator between an internal analytics team and external Pharmaceutical Benefit Manager (PBMs) teams to ensure the timely and accurate validation of the aforementioned client metrics; this required reconcilation between data files provided by the PBM and reports provided by client's account teams. ⦁ Ensured the smooth implementation of client contractal terms (clients both new and renewal) into Excelsior's in-house pharmaceutical data system. Required careful reading of client contracts for proper language to assits in its transition.
