Software & Data Developer

At Volvo Cars, I work in a data automation project that streamlined database management, optimized API interactions, and enhanced data visualization. The project was structured in three key phases: • Data Cleaning & Preparation: Developed a scalable dataframe using Python (pandas) and Excel, to clean, structure, and automate data formatting, ensuring accuracy and consistency for a relational database model. • Database Integration & API Automation: Designed and implemented Python functions to create, modify, and retrieve data from Metabase databases using cURL commands. Automated the entire data upload pipeline, ensuring a seamless transition from cleaned data to a fully structured database. This enhanced data consistency and facilitated dynamic updates as new requirements emerged. • Data Visualization & Business Insights: Built an interactive Power BI dashboard that provided a global view of service relationships, tracked data consumption, and monitored testing vs. production environments. This visualization helped identify key usage patterns and external access points, enabling better decision-making and resource allocation.
