Metrics Fellow

Dove into over 200 student survey responses to understand what was working well and what needed attention, discovering that 86% of students had positive feelings about their experience overall. The data revealed that curriculum content and class scheduling were the main areas where students wanted to see improvements. From this analysis, I created five interactive visualizations that made the findings easy to understand and helped us develop a clear four- tier action plan. This plan was designed to boost satisfaction scores by 15% and cut registration complaints by 30%. I also built user-friendly dashboards from the cleaned survey data, which gave us better tools for promoting our programs and enhancing the overall student experience.

Solar Proposal Analyst

Created detailed financial projections that our sales team could use to show customers exactly what going solar would mean for their wallets. These projections broke down everything from the type of solar system they'd get to different payment options like credit, loans, or cash purchases, plus showed them their potential savings and what their monthly payments would look like. I also worked on adding battery storage options to these proposals, which not only helped customers maximize their energy efficiency but could also contribute to overall grid stability in their area.

Designed solar system plans for residential customers using Aurora software, then mapped these projects through our Salesforce database to keep everything organized. To make sure each installation would work well, I analyzed potential shading issues and calculated system efficiency using Excel API, which helped me fine-tune the designs before presenting them to customers.

Resident Safety Officer (Proctor)

As a residence hall monitor, I was responsible for keeping watch over building entrances and lobby areas to ensure everyone's safety and security. My main job involved managing who could enter the residence halls by checking people's status through our access control system and making sure only authorized individuals got inside. I spent a lot of time helping residents, their guests, and visitors with various questions and concerns, essentially being their first point of contact for any issues that came up. When residents needed help with housing matters or other university services, I connected them with the right people in Residential Life or other departments. The role also had me working regularly with Northeastern Police, Housing Services staff, and other university professionals whenever situations required their expertise or intervention.

Program Operations Intern

In my role supporting energy market operations, I facilitated enrollment and settlement activities with utility partners and grid operators while managing large-scale customer onboarding initiatives. I leveraged SOQL queries and Excel API to successfully register over 6000 customers across various Demand Response Programs, calculating their performance nominations using peak load capacity data obtained from utility partners. To streamline operations, I utilized SFORCE Excel Add-in for bulk nomination updates and efficient customer support case management. I also designed comprehensive dashboards and reports in Salesforce to help the Energy Markets Team track and process daily operations more effectively. Throughout this work, I collaborated across departments including Finance, Customer Support, Operations, and Sales to develop and maintain process improvements that enhanced overall team efficiency.

Reactor Safety Intern

During my work with the Reactor Safety Division at BARC Training Institute, I led a fire severity experiment in a prospective test conference room designed for future safety research. Using Fire Dynamic Simulator, I analyzed how window projections affected heat flux distribution and calculated maximum flame temperatures through Excel mapping. This comprehensive analysis directly informed the final room design specifications, ensuring the new facility would meet safety requirements while serving as an optimal testing environment for future fire safety experiments.
