Data Engineering Intern

Design and deployment of a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system. This project introduced us to the realm of big data and data engineering. We designed a data pipeline consisting of three main components: ingestion, processing engine, and results visualization (dashboard). The pipeline leveraged big data technologies including Apache NiFi, Apache Kafka, and Apache Spark. We deployed the system using Docker containers and utilized Python.
