My Work Experience

Where I've interned and worked during my career.

Safety Analyst

During my aviation degree program, I began interning at Jet Linx as a safety specialist and have since grown into a full-time role as a Safety Analyst and Safety Manager. While I originally pursued professional flight and earned my private pilot and instrument ratings, my path shifted as I discovered a deeper interest in data and how it drives decision-making within aviation safety. In my current role, I analyze a wide range of safety data, including reports from the Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP), Line Operations Safety Assessments (LOSA), fatigue reports, monthly base safety assessments, and FOQA data. I work closely with our IT team and have become the primary data point of contact for the Safety department. Through this collaboration, I’ve developed dashboards, automated reporting pipelines, and transformed raw data into visual insights using tools like Power BI, Sigma, SQL, DOMO, and Databricks. While I’ve always been an Excel enthusiast—even using it to track workouts and meal plans at home—I quickly realized its limitations in more advanced analysis. That curiosity led me to explore new tools and methods, and I’ve been fully invested in growing my technical skill set ever since. I’m currently completing a Data Science Career Certificate through MCC, continuing to build my foundation in data storytelling, analytics, and database design. Although flying will always be a part of my life recreationally, I’ve found my true passion lies in working with data. I’m excited to continue building a career in data analytics or data science, where I can apply my operational knowledge, technical skills, and natural curiosity to solve meaningful problems.

Server

I greeted all my tables with a smile and an enthusiastic attitude. I knew my drinks and my menu and offered recommendations and answers to any of the guests questions. I handled my own money, ran food, and bussed tables. I encouraged my guests to feel welcome and have conversations so they could have a better experience when dining. I made sure everything was to their liking and if it wasn't I was able to handle it and fix it right away.

attitude. I take reservations on the phone through Open table/ Guest Bridge. I work efficiently and am attentive to anyone that comes through the door. I seat guests upon arrival and make sure their needs are met. I make sure to use their name and know if they have any special occasion so I can address it as soon as they come in.

Childcare Provider

I worked before and after school with children between kindergarten and sixth grade. We had breakfast every morning and snacks every afternoon. We offered crafts and the gym everyday. My coworkers and I took turns in the gym and offered to play games with the children. I helped with homework, played dodge ball, and had "fun Friday" every Friday with music. I am CPR certified and took first aid classes. I know how to administer an EPI pen and help with an inhaler if needed. It was 12 kids per teacher. I created bonds that I will never forget.
