Model Optimization Specialist

As a Model Optimization Specialist, I use market specific knowledge, signals and insights to identify and explore scalable solutions to improve overall user experience. I review & establish policies and manage content moderation processes, in order to improve Machine Learning model development for our monetization integrity related work and automatic recognition & labeling of violations. In detail: • Data Analysis & Coding Skills: I gather and analyze data sets in order to conduct Root Cause Analysis and to identify patterns, trends and top driver errors that could have an impact on quality, providing reports, dashboards and presentations. • Cross-functional Communication: I continuously cooperate and calibrate with all the stakeholders involved in the quality control process in order to immediately respond to any quality need as well as escalate borderline cases and new trends. • Training & Presentation Skills: I create guidelines and conduct training and calibration sessions about specific labeling targets for external vendors, working alongside the Policy team to make sure guidelines are consistent with general policies. • Problem Solving: I use my coding experience to manipulate raw data in order to have understandable and accurate RCA reports and to fix bugs within operational tools, with the aim to ultimately optimize the user experience.

People Management: I managed and coached a team of junior co-developers on how to maintain and create internal tools with training sessions and presentations, enabling them to carry out their assigned projects in autonomy. • Teamwork & Optimization: I cooperated with the quality and training team in the development of specific tools to optimize internal workflow, In particular, I successfully replaced spreadsheet files with an ad hoc training platform which replicates the live tool to help new hires familiarize with internal tools, processes and reduce mistakes during the induction. I successfully participated in Innovation Hackathon events looking for innovative solutions to different projects, collaborating with other departments.
