InnoEnergy is the largest Business Accelerator for sustainable energy in Europe. I am part of the Iberian sales team, bridging the gap between external companies and InnoEnergy assets, establishing new connections with investors and future partners. Creator & manager of the initiative "Let’s Talk Energy", an event focused on the Portuguese National Plan for Energy and Climate and on the Role of Innovation in the Energy Transition; This event led to the active cooperation between InnoEnergy, EIB and EY in Portugal. Co-organiser of "The Reverse Pitch", an open-innovation, closed-door event in which companies pitch their issues to start-ups I personally selected in order to find a solution; The outcome proposals lead to potential deals for a total of +270k€.

Workshop: How could your smart and auto-sufficient house look like?

The main objectives of this workshop were to present the idea of a smart house and give each participant the necessary tools to identify measures that allow for a reduction in the energetic household consumption throughout concrete and practical actions. The workshop team, in collaboration with the Portuguese energy cooperative Coopérnico, counts on seven students of the EIT InnoEnergy master programme on sustainable energy engineering.

Among 10 project presented during the final Pitch Competition, our group project was selected as 1 of the 2 best feasible projects. The project aims at the development of a microturbine to be used on non motorized boat in order to produce electricity to power devices such as GPS', Mobile Phones, Fish Finders, etc.
