Software Developer

One of the first remote bootcamps at Awesome Inc. Using Agile methodology, students were put through a rigorous weekly sprints covering a tech stack from HTML5 to React, and Django. At the end of the bootcamp, students presented a live demo of their full stack capstone projects to an audience of about 100 people.

Critchfield Meats Wholesale Division | Oct 2019 - Present

General Manager

Responsible for assisting the President of the company with placing purchase orders to meet our daily demand for all products (beef, pork, chicken, seafood, desserts, paper goods, etc.). Additionally, responsible for confirming and updating all costs on purchase orders and updating prices to remain competitive with that of the current market. Categorized over 1,000 items in our internal ERP system to make our system easier to use for customers who submit online orders. Assist warehouse management with receiving of items with unique identifiers, creation of new items, and label creation. Take customer phone calls and generated orders for customer walk-ins as well as existing operators. Also assist with the creation and setup of vendors & customers in our system. Assist with our A/R as well by posting cash receipts, processing credit cards through our virtual terminal, posting invoices to the sale journal, and issuing credit memos for customers when necessary. When possible, I assist our warehouse by filling orders with scan gun and focus on getting truck drivers out on time. Down stack incoming loads with several pallets into more organized pallets for more organized warehouse slotting and update cross references of new items.
