Many of my responsibilities were similar to that of my previous role as a Food and Beverage Assistant at Novotel Wolverhampton however in Bristol I had an additional role of being in charge of a team. This was often during busy periods to delegate the different roles for the team and ensure that team members felt confident in their role.

Worked alongside the conference department with helping the layout and preparing the food and drink breaks to ensure all events ran smoothly. I was given the opportiunity to do 2 years of work experience within Victoria Forgings where I acquired experience and knowledge of the different type of forgings produced and the precision it takes to produce these forgings. I gained the ability to stock check the different metals and materials used in this factory while also working alongside the metallurgist learning the different aspects of his role. Furthermore I scanned and filed important documents in a bid to help make the company digital and underwent basic training of the accounting software Sage, allowing me to input timesheets for employees. While working here my confidence improved while speaking to customers on the phone and engaging with different members of staff.
