Researcher for Latin America at the Investigative Dashboard, where I contributed to more than 60 journalists in investigations such as Suisse Secrets, Open Luxembourg, China Tobacco, among others from local media. During my experience, I used my data skills to help investigative projects to track companies, assets, and people involved in Organized Crime and Corruption schemes

Co-founder of Doble Check and fact checker

In 2018 I participated in the conceptualization of Doble Check: the first fact- checking outlet against misinformation and the first media literacy initiative in Costa Rica. My work involved creating television, podcasts, radio and web articles. In 2019, the Ministry of Culture of the Government of Costa Rica awarded "Doble Check" with the National Journalism Award 2019. The jury considered our innovation "essential for journalism and a source of inspiration for today's society."

Editor of "Ojo al Clima" (Climate Tracker): the first journalism initiative in Central America to cover climate change, energy, transportation and environment. As part of my word, I led the production of a monthly magazine, a radio program and a website (ojoalclima.com). We impacted with jurisprudence through the Constitutional Court to guarantee greater transparency on climate data. We revealed how 22% of the Costa Rican State's income depends on a dirty matrix based on the purchase of fuel and vehicles and we gave voice to dozens of scientific investigations related to climate change in the Central American region.

Four of the 10 most read articles during 2016 in El Financiero were written by me (including an analysis of the influence of the Donald Trump government in Costa Rica, research on private schools in Costa Rica and a benchmark about economic development policies among Central American countries).
