Democracy Paradox | Jan 2019 - Mar 2025

Founder

I host the podcast and manage the blog at www.democracyparadox.com. The project tackles questions of democracy, democratization, and world affairs with some of the brightest minds. Past guests on the podcast have included Larry Diamond, Erica Chenoweth, and Robert Kagan. My role involves building networks with organizations and scholars to deliver high quality content for the podcast and blog. I handle the marketing, production, and management for the project.

Manage a team of inside sales reps, accounts receivable and warehouse personnel with responsibility for over three quarters of a million dollars in inventory. Spearhead monthly promotions which leverage strategic partnerships with key vendors and expanded our capabilities to our wider customer base. Increased overall sales in the Indianapolis Division nearly 15% in FY2015 and nearly 40% in the safety category. Utilized our daily call-out program to develop an in-house database of over 3,000 companies in my division's territory highlighting key contacts and notes while mapping each entry to assist outside sales personnel in the field.
