Store Assistant

- I worked in the Alton store while I pursued my degree and relocated to a Manchester store whilst completing my courses and certifications. - The workplace allowed me to develop my relationship and communication skills and adapt to different customer/client needs while under pressure to meet targets and goals. I also liased with management to ensure business priorities and KPI’s where hit. - Throughout my time at Aldi, I helped train 10+ new staff members in all aspects of the store which improved my leadership and communication skills. I was also sent to three other stores to train new staff as I took direction well and was a reliable team player. - I was able to perfect my time management skills by studying around my work hours, ensuring I met deadlines, whilst allowing time for my personal life.

Work Experience

During my time at college, I proactively volunteered with this company and took the opportunity to work with a Business Analyst and a Project Manager, gaining a crucial insight into the web development industry and understanding their workflow. I shadowed staff and travelled between office locations as they showed me how client requirements are developed for each project and how these requirements are interpreted into end products. This work experience gave me real-world understanding of the topics such as Project Management and Wireframing that were also being taught during college lectures.

About Me

I’m an ‘internet born’ Data Analyst based in Manchester. I completed my degree at the University of Surrey in Computing. After completing my degree I pursued further study to up-skill such as the Google Data Analytics program and DataCamp.
