Data Scientist/Analyst

In service of General Motors, working with the Voice of Customer, Experience Management and Quality teams. Language models building (Natural Language Processing / NLP) for text analytics in Spanish and Portuguese languages, solving diverse business problems. Under my leadership, we achieved 35% improvement on the general topic model, and up to 89% sensitivity improvement on key topics. Analysis is now done using all available data, not just sampling. Helped fix global KPI calculation methods to ensure enterprise-wide reporting integrity, including untidy data; Also created other statistical models for data informed decisions, such as time series forecasts for KPIs, investigative analyses, A/B tests, and visualizations, including automated reports; Member of the AI Data Governance team, ensuring integrity of data and processes along with the global team; Established documentation, education, training and the institution of good practices; Created the Tech Huddle, where all MSX data professionals would gather to solve issues or discuss trends.
